GUESS WHAT!!!

early today morning I recieved a message from Rock Fiz Bal.

"Macha... Morning... Manchester united come malaysia on julai.. Venue they don't know yet.. But i know where.. Padang botak la... Not mu vs malaysia... But mu vs team hawk..."


Obviously, it was a joke about the last part, but I quickly woke up and checked on the internet and also called my Dad.

and guess what!

MANCHESTER UNITED ARE SET TO COME TO MALAYSIA AGAIN!!

TWO years after their proposed visit to Kuala Lumpur was forced to be called off, Manchester United are set to come a calling again and the FA of Malaysia is ecstatic.


If differences with the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) forced the cancellation of the 2006 match, nothing can stop United this time from playing in KL for the first time since 2001. FAM general secretary Lt Jen (Rtd) Datuk Azzuddin Ahmad said United will have no cause to complain when they arrive for the July 26 match. "We are happy to host Manchester United and we are certain the fans will turn up to watch a world class team in action. We will assist wherever possible to ensure the match goes on smoothly," said Azzuddin yesterday. United's Asian Tour will see them playing in four countries.


United will depart from Manchester on July 16 for a match in China. From there, they will proceed to Seoul, South Korea for a friendly on July 20. Their next stop will be the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta on July 24 and they will be off to KL after that. "Our tours to Asia are always special," said Manchester United chief executive David Gill in a press statement. "The atmosphere generated by the supporters is amazing. The club enjoys unrivalled support across the continent and it is great to give those fans the opportunity to see their heroes in action in their own country."

Manchester United came to Malaysia in 2001, and for those who don't remember, Manchester United had sign a star striker, RUUD VAN NISTELROOY!!

HE MADE HIS DEBUT AGAINST MALAYSIA!!!

AND HE SCORED 2 GOALS AGAINST THEM!!

I was so freaking sad that my Dad didn't take me to go because he thought it was dangerous and I might get lost. =.="

I can't blame my dad for being extra concern. Well, since them, i promised myself to personally go to the stadium myself to watch them play the next time they come here.
