This was sooo freaking funny..
So what happened was, the Family went out for dinner.
So I picked up the newspaper and i was reading it.

There was a section in the Lifestyle section talking about the Chinese Zodiac.
So there was a conversation.


Me:
Lucky Zodiacs this year is Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Ram (Goat), Rooster, Dog, Pig. Hahahaha. The unlucky ones are Monkey, Rat and a big fat dumb Horse.

We have already caught the attention of everyone on the table and started talking.

PWTC Uni-Fair

Ok, this happened like 1 week ago.

Anyways, It was Sunday morning and the plan was to go to PWTC.
Calvin, Anita and Liyana'z and I went together with Anita's Dad.

So this is what happened when we reached there. Calvin and I got seperated from the other 2.




So, Calvin and I just went walking around searching for some interesting booths with less crowd.
(Actually, we were just walking and basically didn't bother much).

Well, it came to one point when we met up the Old School students of SMK Taman Maluri. hahha.. who would have knew?

Well, we lepak'ed with them for a while.

Haihz.. these girls. Every time i see them. Its like, they keep shrinking.

Barbie then, i met up with our the school caunselor Pn Amylea. Then so proudly, she said,

"Remon, ada gambar budak sekolah kita kat depan pintu masuk"

So, i also syok la. Go find it..

So Calvin and I pergi and buat bodoh there.

Well, after a few hours, Anita and Liyana'z left to home and Calvin was about to meet up with the other prisoners from ASiS. So, i told him that i was going to go home la.

Luckily there was the school bus.

Oh Maluri is such the best! hahaha.

So, I tumpang and went home.

Boring Sunday.. hahaha..

Shopping with Naz..

Last week la we went out.

So it was like no ordinary day. Nazim and I went out for SHOPPING!!!
HAHAHA...

No la, we went to the guitar store.

Well this was our public transport of the day.

Nazim took his second ever trip on a public bus with me. For some reason, i'm happy about it. haha.

We had to cross the main road to get to the other side cause the guitar store was there.

In the mean time, Naz and I was talking grandmother stories like there was no tomorrow. Well, we were walking and talking at the same time la. It came to one point that we crossed the main road and still talking with each other.

There was funny thing that happened when we were in the middle of the 2nd lane though, we saw this sign.

I bought 2 new picks that i came to buy and Naz bought one.

I already had a Hard Redish Black one.

Now i own 2 Medium, one in Orange and one in Green! :p

Well, its time to go home now.

So, Naz and I went to the bus stop and waited. Suddenly a Metro 32 arrived.

And we had a conversation.

Remon : Naz, come use this bus la. But need to pay extra RM1.

Naz : Haa? Why?

Remon : Cause, this is Metro not Rapid. Unless you want to wait for Rapid la.

Naz : We wait la.

Remon : Naz, now we got to wait for another 30 minutes.

Naz : See, lucky we didn't take that bus.

Remon : Waa, you somesort of Bomoh Bus is it?

Well, from the looks of things, Nazim really enjoyed himself in the bus.

I hope it becomes a regular part of his travelling. But since now he gonna get license, he won't be needing bus anymore. haihz..

Ok, well Naz and I was in Rejab and we saw this hot chick.. Nazim was excited and I was like trying to whistle..

Well, after a long time never visiting the ANES' of Rejab Babe.. We went for breakfast there again.. and after that, we recorded a song by Coldplay called Lovers in Japan.

Believe me, it was no easy process learning this type of song in a short period of time. But it wasn't a problem for guitar mastero Nazimo!

Ok, before you leave to check out the video, let me just explain what is the song all about.

FYI people, i'm a good guy with a difficulty of controling my words with people.

I'm talking about my bad habit with Vulgar words.


This very week, one year ago..
I remember making a vow to Naz and Sarah about not saying anymore bad words.


But still, i can't help myself la. Sometimes people around me gets too stupid that the word is one way of making the person aware of his/her surroundings.


I'm not blaming it entirely on the other person, yes i take the blame for being surrounded by adults that keep bringing up the word, ex-collegues and even a vigilante boss back during my stint at Fridays. I was too influenced by it.

Besides, for me, i'm being normal la.. I don't use those words to swear to anyone or anything. I don't curse them you see. Well, yea that word is bad! no doubt, but look at the JOY! I bring to the peoples faces when I use that word, alot of them are happy! hahaha..

Who am I kidding..

Well since last year, i've less'en the usage of vulgar language in my daily sentences. Personally, I think thats a good improvement of trying not to be so vulgarish.

Oh ya, and if you do kena before from me, take it as a joke ok. :p

I already told you people, Derby were just lucky last time out.


Now United are through to the FINALS against either Tottenham or Burnley.
These is what happened in the game.

United opened the score line just 20 minutes into the game.

So, it all started with NANI's incredible shot from outside the penalty area.

Man United last minute thriller against Bolton

Phew..


and just when i thought that I couldn't get anymore frustrated,

Bolton was avoiding everything that Man U threw at them.

The Bolton goalkeeper Jussi Jaaskelainen, played really well and managed to block off almost all the shots that United threw at him.

Just when all hopes were set for United to draw, Berbatov, the unlikely hero, saved the day!!

Obviously, it was a joke about the last part, but I quickly woke up and checked on the internet and also called my Dad.

TWO years after their proposed visit to Kuala Lumpur was forced to be called off, Manchester United are set to come a calling again and the FA of Malaysia is ecstatic.


If differences with the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) forced the cancellation of the 2006 match, nothing can stop United this time from playing in KL for the first time since 2001. FAM general secretary Lt Jen (Rtd) Datuk Azzuddin Ahmad said United will have no cause to complain when they arrive for the July 26 match. "We are happy to host Manchester United and we are certain the fans will turn up to watch a world class team in action. We will assist wherever possible to ensure the match goes on smoothly," said Azzuddin yesterday. United's Asian Tour will see them playing in four countries.


United will depart from Manchester on July 16 for a match in China. From there, they will proceed to Seoul, South Korea for a friendly on July 20. Their next stop will be the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta on July 24 and they will be off to KL after that. "Our tours to Asia are always special," said Manchester United chief executive David Gill in a press statement. "The atmosphere generated by the supporters is amazing. The club enjoys unrivalled support across the continent and it is great to give those fans the opportunity to see their heroes in action in their own country."

Man United wins against Wigan, but face losing Rooney

It was a relieve to see the scoreline 1-0 to United, with star striker Wayne Rooney hitting the net, but it was a huge upset to watch the same Wayne Rooney to walk off with a hamstring injury.

Wayne Rooney is facing three weeks out of Manchester United's title charge after scoring the winner and then being struck down by a hamstring injury as the champions sealed a narrow win against Wigan Athletic at Old Trafford on Wednesday.

Rooney, 22, lasted just seven minutes of United's win, which takes them to within two points of leaders Liverpool with a game in hand, before limping out of the action.

United can claim top spot in the Premier League for the first time this season if they defeat Bolton at the Reebok on Saturday, but Rooney will be forced to watch from the sidelines after suffering his injury blow.

Ok, first thing that would be running through your mind would be either

Well, i can't blame them for saying either 2.

Well, Pongal is celebrated today, 14th of January 2009 this year!

Well, like Chinese New Year and Awal Muharram, Pongal is celebrated inconjunction of the New Year in the Hindu Solar Calender.

By now you should know that Hindus' celebrate this festival. Pongal basically means overflow, or according to my mom, spillover.

Usually, it is celebrated by boiling rice with fresh milk and jaggery in new pots, which are later topped with brown sugar, cashew nuts and raisins early in the morning and allowing it to boil over the vessel. This tradition gives Pongal its name.

The moment the rice boils over and bubbles out of the vessel, the tradition is to shout of "Ponggalo Ponggal!" and blowing the sangu (a conch), a custom practiced during the festival to announce it was going to be a year blessed with good tidings. For Tamils, it is considered a good sign to watch it boil over, since it means that good luck and prosperity is forthcoming.

Like every big celebration, Pongal is celebrated with gift-giving, visiting homes, and feasting.

You know something, its not nessasary only for Indians to celebrated this festival, as its significance is thanking nature for its prosperity. We should all be thankful! :p

FIFA World Player of the Year

The FIFA World Player of the Year is an Association football award given annually to the male and female player who are thought to be the best in the world, based on votes by coaches and captains of international teams. In a voting system based on positional voting, each coach gets three votes, worth five points, three points and one point, and the winners are ordered based on total number of points.

Cristiano Ronaldo won the FIFA World Player of the Year award on Monday to complete a sweep of soccer's top individual honors for 2008.

The Portugal winger led Manchester United to the Premier League and Champions League titles in May. He scored 42 goals in all competitions last season and became the first English Premier League player to win the honor in the award's 18-year history.

"It is an overwhelming moment, a very special moment in my life," Ronaldo said. "I would like to say to my mother and sister that the fireworks can be fired off now."

It should have been so so much more you know. I think it was suppose to be 5-0 la.

ABOUT THE CORNER TRICK

See, as you all witness,

• Rooney placed the ball on the edge of the field and tapped the ball for a player to come get it, with no futher touches coming from Rooney.


• Giggs comes over, took the ball and crossed it.


• Ronaldo scored a powerful header which didn't count.

Why it didn't count?

According to the linesman, Rooney didn't tell the linesman that he already had taken the corner, even if it was a simple tap.

Why was it suppose to count?

Well, players don't usually tell referees that they are gonna kick the ball or tap the ball or do whatever with the ball. The rule is simple, if the referee blows the whistle, it automatically signals that the player is able to take the kick.

Hahaha.. well, it didn't matter anyways, cause the retake of the corner resulted in a goal by Vidic! hahaha.. Stunning header by the Serbian.

So second half began, and Manchester United were dominating the whole match through. We had several good chances to make great goals.

Next thing you know, Ronaldo was on the left wing, with his fancy leg work, back heel'ed the ball to Evra who ran deeper into the edge crossed the ball.
