Shopping for a Badminton Racket.

Well, we went shopping!!! hahaha.. Not exactly shopping la, Mogan was in need a of a racket so Hafiz, Loh and I tagged in. Besides we wanted to check out some Isometrics, Armotecs, Carbonnyx, and other hard hitting rackets. We did managed to find Armotec 500 but Datuk Lee Chong Wei punya (Armotec 900) can't find. Probably too expensive la. haha..

Mogan was quite confused to buy what racket, so i recommended the starters one, the Isometric with Super Power string. Mogan was that power type of person ma, i thought it would be suitable for him.

This picture, Hafiz was trying to steal the racket! Too bad it was all locked up. Hafiz himself is desperate to get another racket. Let him see what he likes then maybe after SPM we come shopping again.

Well, Mogan seemed satisfied with the choice, the racket he is pointing to was the one he bought! ^^ If you all can see, you all memang hebat.

Well, it was getting rather late so the Fiz, Loh and I left Jusco and rushed home. On the way home, we saw the legendary Pinky car parked outside Kok Khuen's residents.

No doubt this car belongs to Kok Khuens family, even I was in it before. They modified this Datsun from a browny colour to a unique pink and yellow colour. I have to say that this is very unique. In the whole Malaysia, this is the first pink and yellow Datsun I think.

Bon Voyage Fazeeq~

Today I recieved an SMS from Fazeeq, the saiko junior of mine. The HipHop dude. haha (Oh ya, I have a phone now)

He wrote saying he is leaving to Mekah, and Madinah (The Muslims Holy Land). Well, i called him the minute i got it.

It was true he was leaving for Mekah. I had nothing to say to him, except a bon voyage, and hope he would have a safe journey. Although Fazeeq isn't really the favourite among many, I still admire him for his.. well.. for him. He is the "Genuine" type of person who isn't afraid to speak his mind. Unfortunately he has been under the wrong influence and i have sympathy on him.

What disturbs me is that when I asked him, when will he return from the trip, he replied, i don't think i'm gonna return. I was like.. blurred.. (=.=") I asked him why? like everyone else would and he told me it was something personal. He had a vision or somesort. I was getting worried for some reason. Then he asked me to ask Sarah, i'll understand then.

I was like.. Hmmmm.. ok.. And I wished him the best for his trip. I hope he will arrive safely and be safe there.
Hope he enjoys life there too.

Hahaha.. Sorry man.. I only have 3 picture that includes you. And this is one of them. The one on the left in the blue shirt is the man i'm talking about (Fazeeq).
Take Care Fazeeq..
I'll miss you man..

True Malaysian Spirit..

Like we all know, the Olympics is the biggest thing that's 'happening' right now.

Malaysia has already trained their finest athlete's in events such as Badminton, Archery, Sailing, Cycling, 53kg Weightlifting, Swimming, and Diving. However, as disappointing as every other Olympic, the Malaysian didn't make the most of their chances to go through to the finals or semis as most of the Shuttlers lost out before even making it in the Semis, The Archery team came close to equalizing but lost, Daniel Bego is just not ready for the Olympics from what we saw, but we do give him credit for trying his best and i didn't event hear a single thing about the other games.

Well, Malaysia's only hope to retrieve a medal from the prestigious event is through the Men Single Badminton. Lee Chong Wei is our final hope to end the wait for a gold medal. We Malaysian have never been so proud of an Athlete like him for all he has done to bring honor and respect to Malaysia.

The semifinals includes Lee Chong Wei against Lee Hyun Il from Korea and Lin Dan against compatriot Chen Jin.

Like every other Malaysian around the country, I wanted to watch the game. But the blady Astro had some problems. The fastest thing that i could think of is to run to the mamak infront of my house. So i did. I was fortunate to get a good TV viewing seat and ordered a Teh Tarik and Roti Bakar.

The match was so intensive, believe me. Lee Chong Wei won the first set and was struggling to put of a much anticipated performance in the second set as Lee Hyun Il was crushing Chong Wei by a load mile of points. Fingers were crossed and eyes wide open in the third and final set. Everyone in the Mamak was supporting with their hearts as they shouted everytime Lee Chong Wei scored a magnificent point. I, myself couldn't help but shout.

Lee Chong Wei was on the verge of winning against the Korean but Hyun Il didn't give up as he did everything to block off Chong Wei from getting a chance. Now it was down to the final point. Chong Wei was one point away from everything; the finals, a confirmation of a medal (either gold or silver), and everyone in Malaysia is placing their hopes on him. HE DID IT. He won the game, he has brought Malaysia to the promised land. He has done it. At that instant, everyone in the Mamak got up and shouted their lungs out. Everyone, Chineses, Indians, and Malays were all together screaming as one. This is want i want to see. Its a dream come true to see everyone unite as one. Not as Malays, not as indians. But as Malaysians! This is what i dream for to see the True Malaysian Spirit.

I thought to myself, Its funny how Malaysians come together as one to support a representative from the Nation. Regardless the religion, we are still Malaysians after all. And for Chong Wei to enter the final brought tears to my eyes. It was because I love my country, yes i do. Lee Chong Wei is/was and will be a inspiration to everyone in the country. To every little boys and girls who plays badminton, they will be wishing to play like him one day. Every teen who plays badminton this very moment, Lee would be their inspiration.

I've dedicated my life playing football from a young age as a hobby. I gave up that interest and pursued a higher interest in Badminton because of him. Lee Chong Wei, a hero.
My hero.

I couldn't help but shed a tear and feel proud for him while typing this in. He has given all he could for Malaysia and he is just one step away from getting the long awaited GOLD medal. He has to climb a big mountain now, as he faces arch nemesis Lin Dan in the Finals.
EVERY single Malaysian around the country will be behind our hero, Lee Chong Wei, our Golden Boy.

ALL THE BEST TO YOU LEE!
WERE PLACING ALL OUR HOPES ON YOU!
GO FOR THE GOLD,
GOLDEN BOY!

Merentas Desa

Yeauup!
Its the annual Cross Country Race.
This year was most probably the best one compared to those we had in the past.
Although I didn't really perform this year dropping 8 noches to take the 11th placing, the fun part of it all was that everyone was present for the race.

The best of all was the picture taking. Alexi got his new camera and took many snap shots. Here are a few of the shots he took.

Here's the camera man himself!!

The guys pretty exhausted after the run..

These are the trophies our house collected during the Merentas Desa.

Me representing my house for the best Overall Performers.

Ahhh.. to top it all off! A gang picture.. Very nice indeed!! EVERYONES SMILING!!
Tiring day, but its our last ever Cross Country Race in school, so it was worth it! ^^

The Opening Ceremony of Merdeka in School

Every school in the country has to celebrate an opening ceremony for merdeka. Our school did it in style. Well, its not like its everyday we get to see mat rempits riding their bikes to the assembly site.

Leaded by the Mob himself. A teacher "whos name always seem to escape me"

Bad thing though, was Air pollution. The whole time, those Rempits were accelerating the gas causing tremendous amount of Carbon Monoxide to be released in the air. But it was a good show! Something new we seen in the past 5 years.

Well another show wasn't really compareable with the Rempits act, it was something educating really. The reason I'm talking about it is because we get to see my Thambi Macha "Mogane the Beast" in traditional costume being a teacher.

Well, not long later in the week, Nadine and I represented the PBSM to paint the poster. We didn't have a choice since those other juniors have been "really helpful" but who can blame them.

Ahh the superman pose. I'm not doing this on purpose people. My leg really hurts and it was rather comfortable actually lying there! haha.

Well, its nothing really special actually. But some of us gotta keep the patriotic spirit up! ^^

Merdeka~~
